Excessive sweating is also known as Hyperhidrosis which is treated with Botox injections. When excessive sweating occurs it is because the nerves that control the sweat glands become overactive.

Botox injections control and prevent the communication between nerves and sweat glands that block the sweating from coming out into the surface. The treatment is performed by injecting Botox into the under arm area. There is normally very minimum discomfort that is experienced by patients but it all depends on everyone’s pain tolerance level.

For more sensitive patients we offer anaesthetic cream that is applied to numb the skin. The results will be seen in the first few days but it may take 7-14 days to reach full effectiveness of the treatment.
